Your bottle looks lovely :) I've just made another batch at home in the house and I stand by my 'it's best made on a boat' comments - I had insects all over the place - yuck!<br /><br />Sterilising the bottles can be done by just boiling them for 20mins if that helps? If you want to keep the cordial out of the fridge you can extend its shelf life by up to a year by boiling it again in a water bath. You need a deep/tall pan, one that is taller than your bottles. Line its base with a folded tea towel, piece of newpaper or trivet. Put your bottles in with the lid loosely tightened - they need to have space for the steam to escape. Fill the pan with water to within an inch of the top of the bottle. Bring the the boil and boil for 20-30 mins.
